Kersten Molina Signs with Hawkeye RedTails Women’s Soccer

WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College welcomes women's soccer player Kersten Molina to the Hawkeye RedTails Family.

Molina is a 2017 graduate of Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout her career as a Western Warrior, Molina has received many individual and team accolades. She was elected as varsity captain her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. In 2016, the Warriors made an unprecedented run to the Class 3A state championship game, falling to Truckee 3-0 to finish the season 17-6-2. As an integral part of the first state runner-up team in school history, Molina received multiple honors, including All-League First Team Player, All-Southern Region First-Team Player, and All-State Second Team Player. In addition to her outstanding soccer career, Molina proved herself in the classroom as a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

She is the daughter of Hector and Ana Molina and plans to enroll in the Animal Science program.
