TRIPOLI- Hawkeye Community College welcomes volleyball signee, Brooke Dreesman, to the RedTails Family.
At Tripoli, Dreesman played in 335 games while serving as the middle hitter. As a Panther, she accounted for 418 kills, 190 errors in 1219 attempts (.187%), 203/239 serving (84.9%) with 35 aces, 35 assists, 174 digs, and 157 blocks (.468 blocks per game).
Coach Weston had the following to say about the incoming Dreesman;
"Brooke is an exciting piece to add to the Hawkeye Volleyball Family. She comes from a perennial state qualifier in Tripoli, and is extremely well coached. She knows what it takes to win and be highly successful. I had the chance to watch her play in the state tournament and what I really noticed was her drive and determination. She's not afraid to step up and take the big swing in a big moment for her team. She has an impressive net presence and puts herself in great position to shut down opponents' offenses. She is quick, approaches well and terminates with power."
Brooke is the daughter of Eric and Amber Dreesman and plans to enroll in the Digital Mass Media program next fall.
