East Sac Grad Konner Roth Joins Hawkeye RedTails Track and Field Team

WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College welcomes men's track and field athlete Konner Roth to the RedTails Family.

A graduate of East Sac High School in Lake View, Roth is an 800M specialist, qualifying for the Class 2A Iowa State High School Track and Field Championships in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Roth took 16th place as a sophomore (2:03.02), sixth as a junior (1:56.66) and sixth as a senior (2:00.01). He was also an integral part of East Sac's 4x400M, 4x800M, and distance medley relay teams, qualifying for the state meet from 2015-2017.

Roth holds the East Sac school record in the 800M, and helped set school records in the 4x400M, 4x800M, distance medley, and sprint medley relays. In addition to track and field, Roth competed in football and basketball.

He is the son of Dan and Tina Roth, and plan to enroll in the Criminal Justice Transfer program.
