Jordan Lentz Takes Gold at 2017 AIM Grand American Shoot

SPARTA, ILLINOIS–Hawkeye RedTails Sports Shooter Jordan Lentz of Aurora claimed the championship title in Junior Gold–Class C at the 2017 AIM Grand American Shoot, held July 27–August 1 at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois.

Lentz was one of 173 shooters in Junior Gold–Class C (ages 18-22). In the 200 target championship Lentz shot a 100 straight his second round for a combined score of 198/200. Lentz was tied for first after both rounds, taking the title through a tie-breaking shoot off.

The RedTails kick off their fall 2017 season on September 16 at the Southeastern Community College Invitational.
