WATERLOO–The RedTails women's soccer team played an exciting game this Wednesday, winning 4-3 in a neck to neck battle against Southeastern Community College. After an hour-long weather delay, the game began and was full of energy from the jump.
Both teams showcased high-power offensive performances, but the RedTails dug deep and found a way to fend off the scrappy Eagles. Chloe Allan lead the way with an impressive outing, scoring three of the four RedTail goals and tallying a coveted hat trick.
Allan's first goal came in the first half (19:15), and the last two goals came in the second half (70:06, 84:46). Her final goal ultimately won the game, as she kicked a crucial late penalty kick that sealed the deal for the RedTails.
"There were a couple plays that were total mistakes but we found a way to win the game late when it mattered," said head coach Robbie Carroll.
The RedTails will look to continue their hot offensive play as they compete next at Indian Hills Community College.
