Women’s Soccer Teams Stays Hot As They Shutout Iowa Lakes

WATERLOO–The RedTail Women's Soccer team continued their strong play Tuesday, defeating Iowa Lakes Community College 3-0 in an exciting offensive showcase. 

 

RedTail Chloe Allan continued her strong play, scoring a goal in the first half (20:38) off an assist from Faith Cullen-Cooper. Allan scored another goal in the second half (54:51) after receiving a beautiful assist from Charlotte Chalder. The final goal was unassisted (84:36) and put the nail in the coffin, as Ajla Sivic found the corner of the net late in the game. 

 

The team was fired up after the win. 

 

"We are all determined right now and we want to win," said Chloe Allan.  "We are really coming together as a family and I couldn't do this without strong play for my teammates" 

 

Robbie Carroll spoke highly of Allan post game, stating: "She was absolutely fantastic today and she proved again why she is player of the week. Bring on North East Community- we're ready for ya!"

 

The RedTails are back in action this Saturday, September 28, as they travel to North East Community College.
