WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College would like to welcome Macy Mommer to the RedTail Women's Volleyball Team.
Mommer was a four year varsity letter winner and aided Starmont High School in qualifying for the state tournament three years in a row. Proving to be a key component to the team, she earned MVP in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Mommer rounded out her volleyball career at Starmont with 345 Sets, 751 kills, 152 Aces, 54 assists, 1052 digs, 20 blocks and an outstanding 95.4 percent serving average.
"Macy is a fantastic addition to our program," said head coach Scott Weston. "She is a versatile OH (outside hitter) who is a tremendously strong server. She comes from a great program at Starmont, qualified for the state tournament three consecutive years, knows what it takes to play high caliber volleyball and has a high drive to be successful. We are excited to add Macy to the RedTail Volleyball Family."
Macy is the daughter of Kevin Mommer and Lissa Tschirgi and plans to enroll in the Nursing program.
