Male Athlete of the Week-D'Artagnon Beaver

RedTail Cross Country runner D'Artagnon Beaver has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Luther College Invite in Decorah on Saturday, September 10.

D'Artagnan was the top finisher for the RedTails, placing 23rd with a time of 23:02.8 for the 8K. He has really been a leader of the team all year for the young freshman.

"D'Artagnon has really stepped up to be the team leader in daily training, he's showing how much he cares for his teammates each workout and race," said head coach Tyler Mulder. "On top of all that, he's been running well within our first two meets that we've had less than ideal conditions between a hot and humid race and a rainy muddy race, he maintained an overall positive attitude which makes it fun for the whole team!"

Beaver is originally from Rockford, IL.
