RedTail Dance Team Sweeps Their First Competition of the Year

CEDAR RAPIDS–The Hawkeye RedTail Dance came out on top at Stack the Stands November 12, placing first in all three categories of dance.

Saturday's competition was the RedTails first competition of the season. They competed in the Collegiate Pom, Hip Hop, and Jazz categories where they were scored out of 100 points. The RedTails competed against 38 other schools and studios at the competition.

"I am so proud of this team and all their constant hard work," said Abby Kopriva, head dance coach. "Moving forward this week we will start going over the judges feedback to prepare for State Championships on December 1."
