Female Athlete of the Week-Ashton Pfister
RedTail dancer Ashton Pfister has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performances so far this season.
Ashton has shown herself to be a great leader and puts in constant hard work. She has helped lead the RedTails to success in the first part of their season. Recently, the RedTails dance team came out on top in all three categories of dance at the Stack the Stands competition in Cedar Rapids on November 12.
"Ashton is our co-captain on the team and she has exceeded our expectations," said head coach Abby Kopriva. "She is the first to give us new ideas, help dancers outside of practice, and assist with anything I may need. In practice and during competitions she is always positive and lifting other dancers up."
"Our season has been going great, and our performances have been encouraging our athletes to do better each time," said Ashton. "State dance in Des Moines was a great experience for our athletes to show off all our hard work we have done so far in the season! We are hoping to continue this hard work at Nationals!"
Pfister is originally from Hawkeye, IA.
