RedTails Golf Breaks School Record

WATERLOO–The RedTails competed in the Hawkeye Fall Invite on September 9, placing first with a team score of 283 and breaking a school record. 

Sacha Brown and Tom Bell tied for first overall, each scoring 70. Grant Dekruyf scored third overall with a score of 71. Austin Brown was right behind with a score of 72 placing fourth overall. With a score of 76 and scoring sixth place overall was Luke Galeazzi. 

"The guys had a great time on Thursday and was fun to beat the school record by 10 shots for the A team and then the B team also set a new low of 313 for their play," says coach Micah Destival, "Bill and I are excited about the direction this team is taking and looking forward to the next tournament."

Next up for the RedTails is the Clarke Invite in Galena, Illinois, on September 17-18.
