Strong Showing for RedTails golf team at NIACC

The RedTails men's and women's golf teams competed on April 24 at NIACC, turning in solid performances at Highland Park Golf Course as they prepare for postseason play.

On the men's side, several athletes delivered consistent rounds, highlighted by Carson Nash and Graham Bremner, who each finished at 2-over par. Jaden Hawbaker and Oliver Thompson followed closely at 3-over par, while Mitchell Randall added a 4-over finish to round out the team's scoring efforts.

"The men did some nice things, and it was good to see a couple of the guys have some personal bests at Highland Park," said the coach. "Another week to prepare for the district tournament next week in Sioux City for a shot at the national tournament" said coach Micah Destival.

The women also turned in a strong showing, with Makenna Brissey leading the way at 15-over par on a course that presented its own challenges.
