Hawkeye Cross Country and Track & Field Team Gives Back to the Community at St. Timothy’s Church and Preschool

The Hawkeye Community College Cross Country and Track & Field program spent their day giving back to the local community by volunteering at St. Timothy's Church and Preschool in Hudson. The team dedicated their afternoon to helping with landscaping, cleaning the playground, and tidying up the church's corn crib area.

The Head Coach expressed pride in the team's efforts, noting the enthusiasm and teamwork displayed throughout the day. "I couldn't be more proud of our athletes and staff for the enthusiasm and heart they showed while giving back," said the coach. "We hope to continue making a positive impact on this amazing community."

The service project reflects Hawkeye Athletics' ongoing commitment to community engagement and leadership beyond competition. The team plans to continue volunteering locally throughout the year, fostering connections and giving back to those who support them.
