WILLIAM HORTON SIGNS WITH HAWKEYE COMMUNITY COLLEGE MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD
Hawkeye Community College is proud to announce that William Horton has signed to continue his academic and athletic career with the RedTails as a member of the Men's Track and Field program.
Horton comes to Hawkeye from Arkansas City High School in Arkansas City, Kansas, where he competes in the shot put and discus. He began his track and field journey in 8th grade and has steadily developed into a dedicated and motivated thrower with a strong desire to improve at the collegiate level.
Excited for a fresh start, Horton is looking forward to challenging himself in a new environment while continuing to grow both as an athlete and a student. He plans to pursue a degree in Accounting and is eager to take advantage of the opportunities available at Hawkeye, on the track and in the classroom.
"I'm excited to come to Iowa, get out of my town, and develop myself to become the best athlete I can while pursuing my education," Horton said. "I'm ready for the next step and everything that comes with it."
Hawkeye Community College is excited to welcome William Horton to the RedTail family and looks forward to his future success with the Men's Track and Field program.
