Athlete of the Week: D’Artagnon Beaver

WATERLOO- RedTails Cross Country freshman D'Artagnon Beaver has been named the Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Les Duke Grinnell Invitational on September 11. 

Beaver had his collegiate debut in the 8k at the Les Duke Grinnell Invitational. His outstanding performance earned him the top finishing spot for the RedTails and 23rd place overall with a time of 27:25.1. 

"D'Artagnon has proven himself as the top finisher for the RedTails Cross Country team, he's an excellent leader on and off the track," says coach Tyler Mulder

Beaver was also named one of the National Athlete of the Week for the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for NJCAA Division II cross country for the week of September 13. Beaver is originally from Rockford, Illinois.
