RedTail Cross Country and Track & Field Names Corinne Gadient as Assistant Coach
WATERLOO-Corinne Gadient has been named the assistant coach for the RedTail Cross Country and Track and Field programs.
A graduate of Anamosa High School, Gadient was a back-to-back state champion in the 4x800 at Monticello and runner-up in the 800 at the Drake Relays. She was a three-time All-Conference honoree in track and field and ran at UNI from 2019 - 2021. Gadient will be starting her coaching career here for the RedTails.
Gadient is currently a student at UNI and is on track to get her degree in psychology with a minor in coaching. After college, she plans to get her masters in mental health counseling at UNI.
"Corinne Gadient was an exceptional from Iowa at Anamosa high school, as a two-time state champion," said head coach Tyler Mulder. "Corinne has a good knowledge of the sport competing at UNI and specializing as a middle distance athlete, she will really help spark the team with her degree in psychology which can really help the athletes on and off the track! I'm excited to have her on the staff to help lead our middle distance and distance teams! Corinne's passion for coaching and building relationships is a key to her success"
