Stellar Performance for RedTail Men’s Cross Country at the Seminole Valley Stampede

CEDAR RAPIDS-All of the Hawkeye RedTail men set a personal best at the second 8K race of the year. The team traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 8, 2022, for the Seminole Valley Stampede.

D'Artagnon Beaver placed 10th overall with a time of 26 minutes, 28.0 seconds. Brennan Sauser finished with a time of 26:54.7, placing him at 23rd overall. Hunter Hughlette set his PR with a time of 29:22.4 Byrce Grissom shaved over 2 minutes off of his previous personal best finishing at 31:31.5.

"This meet was stellar because everyone set a personal record," said coach Corinne Gadient. "This course was relatively flat which set each athlete up for success and allowed them to drop crazy times on the course. With these results, I am excited to see what we can accomplish at Regionals!"
