RedTails Sports Shooting Opens the Fall Season Against Corridor
RedTail Sports Shooting held their first virtual competition of the season against Kirkwood Clay Crushers. RedTails were able to come home with men's and women's victories and an overall RedTail win, 470-431.
In the women's division, Alexis Teribury had an impressive showing to start the season, winning the women's title with a high score of 94. Brianna Heltibridle and Nicole Popp were right behind her, with scores of 91.
The men also started their season strong. Dawson Harney was almost perfect, posting a score of 97. Jake Maakestad scored closely behind him with a score of 94. Zachary Abbas posted a score of 93 to round off the top three men's scores.
"The team did well, for the first competition of the year. Many of our athletes have not practiced or competed for 6 months to a year. We are proud of the win, personal best, and award-winning performances. This is a great group of athletes. They have been fun to coach", says Coach Emley.
The RedTails will look to continue their great start to the season this Saturday, September 12, virtually against Southeastern Community College.
