Athlete of the Week: Brianna Heltibridle

Hawkeye sophomore Brianna Heltibridle was named the RedTail athlete of the week for her performance against Southeastern Community College and Northwest Iowa Community College.

Heltibridle competed against Southeastern Community College on September 11, placing first in the female division by hitting 93 targets. When competing against Northwest Iowa Community College on September 18, she placed first in the female division by hitting 95 targets. She is also excelling in the classroom, with over 90% in three of her classes.

"We can count on Brianna Heltibridle to bring a smile to our practices and competitions, as she makes others around her smile, says head coach Troy Emley. "We can count on her to be competitive; often winning First Place Female."

Heltibridle will be back in action on Friday, October 9, against Northeast Iowa Community College.
