Female Athlete of the Week-Lydia Covert

RedTail Sports Shooting student-athlete Lydia Covert has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance against Indian Hills Community College on October 6th.

Lydia earned her 1st Place Female medal through her first-ever shoot-off with 91 targets. She showed poise and championship focus in each of her competitions, she brought out her best competitive qualities.

"Lydia Covert is a competitor in the classroom, on the field, and in life," said head coach Troy Emley. "Her personality and character traits are at the heart of a Champion. The future looks bright for Lydia Covert."

Covert is originally from Lakewood, NY.
