ICCAC Athlete of the Week - Colton Crooks

Colton Crooks had a day last weekend at the ICCAC Championships in Waukee, The sophomore completed the trifecta, taking home the top score in each of the three events, trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Crooks shot a 98 of 100 during the trap event, winning a tiebreaker over teammate Blaedyn Benscoter. Then in skeet, he won outright with a 99 of 100 -- edging out Shane Manyik of Iowa Western. And in Sporting Clays, Crooks beat out Manyik for first, as both went 88 of 100. Hawkeye won the team Trap Championship and took second in sporting clays, and third in skeet.
