Male Athlete of the Week – Cole Slabaugh

RedTail Sports Shooting's Cole Slabaugh has been named the Scheels Male Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance at his latest competition.

Cole dominated the field, posting the highest scores in skeet, sporting clays, and trap-singles, securing the title of Classic All Around Champion Male.

His results:

Skeet: 97/100 (including his first 50 straight)
Sporting Clays: 78/100
Trap-Singles: 98/100
Classic All Around Total: 273/300


"Cole has made giant leaps in his shooting career! He had never practiced or competed in skeet or sporting clays before coming to Hawkeye RedTails Sports Shooting, and now he's a champion," said coach Troy Emley.

Beyond his performance on the range, Cole is also a member of the Student Action Committee and serves as a Student Ambassador, helping share the great opportunities at Hawkeye Community College.
