Female Athlete of the Week – Kiyrah Karstens

RedTail Bowling's Kiyrah Karstens has been named the Scheels Female Athlete of the Week after a strong showing at the NJCAA National Championship in Buffalo, New York.

Kiyrah finished 22nd in the All-American standings, averaging 176.3 over 12 games.

Her results included:

Doubles: 36th place (partner: Madison Dreckman) – 521 series
Singles: 21st place – 526 series
Team Games: 486 and 583 series
High Game of Tournament: 221

"Kiyrah was our most consistent bowler for the women. She kept telling herself she was going to shoot 300 each game to stay focused, and it paid off—exceeding her season average by about 20 pins during the event," said coach Roger Taylor.
