RedTail Women's Golf Competes at Upper Iowa Invite

WATERLOO–The RedTail Women's Golf team competed at the Upper Iowa Invite In Waterloo, IA, on April 7-8 where they scored sixth with a combined score of 824.

Chase Doland placed 18th with a score of 177, 90-87 respectively.

Olivia Hammel placed 22nd with a score of 186, 98-88 respectively.

Lauren Funk placed 31st with a score 228, 122-106 respectively.

Calli Thome placed 32nd with a score of 233, 108-125 respectively.

"The women played great on a difficult setup and lowered the school record by a couple shots in the second round," said coach Micah Destival. "This was a good range of four-year schools and we thought we competed pretty well against some decent teams.  Weather forecast for the week ahead looks great so I'm looking forward to getting in some work ahead of our home tournament next weekend."
