RedTails Women’s Golf Battles Through Tough Conditions at NIACC Fall Invitational

The Hawkeye Community College RedTails Women's Golf Team competed at the NIACC Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Highland Park Golf Course in Mason City. The RedTails showed determination throughout the round but faced a challenging layout that tested all aspects of their game.

Sophomore Makenna Brissey led the team with a score of 86 (+14), putting together a steady back nine after a difficult start. Eve Brumbaugh followed with a 100 (+28), while Natalie Sinnwell and Delaney Legg rounded out the team with scores of 102 (+30) and 105 (+33) respectively.

Head Coach Micah Destival states - "The ladies continue to get better and are having fun on the course.  We only have one tournament the next few weeks so it will be nice to tidy up a few things in practice.".
