RedTails Battle Ellsworth Community College in Hard-Fought Dual

The RedTail men's wrestling team returned to the mat against Ellsworth Community College on February 9, 2026. Competing across many weight classes in a hard-fought matchup. 

RedTail Men's Highlights 

• M. Norton (125 lbs) – Collected a forfeit victory to give Hawkeye an early boost in the dual.

• A. Fish (133 lbs) – Added another forfeit win, giving Hakweye an early lead. 

• C. Royster (141 lbs) – Battled through a competitive 15-10 decision. 

• A. Pfantz (174 lbs) – Fought through, coming up just short in a 6-3 decision. 

Hawkeye showed determination throughout the lineup while battling some injuries on the sideline. Highlighting early wins and competing hard in tough matchups. The RedTails continue to build momentum as they prepare for the next stretch of the season. 

Coach Lovell touched on some of these injuries by saying, "The team was not 100%, if we would've had all of our boys healthy, that would have been a win. Everyone has a part to play in duals."
