Female Athlete of the Week – Jil Lehman

Jil Lehman has been named the Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play on the soccer field and tremendous growth throughout the year as a freshman for the RedTail Women's Soccer Team.

Jil scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Upper Iowa and earned the penalty that led to a draw in a 1-1 tie with William Penn, showcasing her offensive instincts and ability to impact games in key moments. She's adapted to a new position this season and has embraced the challenge with determination and resilience.

"Jil has had a fantastic year here at Hawkeye," said head coach Chris Rennie. "She's grown so much, and this spring she's really taken a step forward in her finishing. The goals she scored last week are the kind you want to watch on replay."
