RedTail Women’s Soccer Defeats UNI Club in Final Scrimmage of 2025 Spring Season

On Wednesday, April 23, the RedTail women's soccer team hosted the UNI Club at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex for their last scrimmage of the 2025 spring season.

The RedTails took an early lead and ended the game in an impressive 15-0. 

"We really wanted to finish the spring season on a high," said head coach Christopher Rennie. "This group of players have had a record breaking year here at Hawkeye and it was important that we finished our season with another strong performance and memorable night on our home field. It was great to give our sophomores their final send off with a win and for our returning freshman it ends an impressive year on another high."

"We have now finished our last two spring seasons undefeated, winning four and tieing four against strong four year programs. For our freshmen, they have only lost one game this whole year and for our sophomores, it has now been only one loss in the last 18 months, which is an incredible achievement."
