RedTail Women’s Soccer Signs Lea

We're excited to announce that Grace Lea, from Kirk Balk Academy in the United Kingdom, has committed to Hawkeye Community College to continue her academic and athletic career as a member of the Women's Soccer Team.

Grace began playing football at the age of 11 in 2018 and now enters Hawkeye as a dynamic striker and winger. She plans to study Physical Therapist Assistance while bringing her offensive talent to the pitch. Among her top achievements: earning Manager's Player, finishing as top goal scorer last season, and training with the Barnsley Ladies First Team.

"I am excited to come to HCC as it will be a new challenge and an amazing opportunity. I'm excited to play soccer in a whole new environment. I've now been competing for 7 years and love it more each and every day."
