RedTails Battle Top-10 Opponent in Gritty Home Match
This past Saturday, the RedTail women's soccer team faced one of the highest-ranked opponents in program history, welcoming St. Charles Community College to their home field. In a match marked by intense heat and humidity, the RedTails showed grit and determination. After being fouled in the box, Jael Bruhlmeier capitalized on a rebound from a penalty kick taken by Miranda Tyler, putting the RedTails on the board.
The entire squad played with heart and unity, earning a hard-fought result. Assistant Coach Robert Lodge praised the team's effort, saying, "A performance to be proud of against a good top 10 side. The ladies set a great impression of the team we want to be this season regardless of who they play."
The RedTails return to action at home next Saturday, September 20th, following a full week of training. With each match, they aim to keep building momentum and shaping the strongest version of their team by season's end.
