RedTails Women's Soccer wins against Grand View University

The RedTails Women's Soccer team opened their spring season with a 1–0 victory, earning a hard-fought win against Grand View University on April 2nd. The goal came from a corner kick by Eve Harriot, which forced a mistake and ultimately deflected off a Grandview player into the net.

"Firstly it was great to get back to a competitive game environment again and great for the team to win the first game of the Spring season against a four year school.

Any time we come to play a four year university we know there are always areas we must compete in, we have to be physical and put a lot of energy into the game, to allow us the opportunity to then play the game we want.

The first 15 minutes it took us a little bit of time to get back up to speed and to get a feel for the game but after that I fully felt we were the stronger team and deserving of the win" said head coach Chris Rennie.
