Adelynn Wierck Joins RedTails Women’s Cross Country and Track Teams

We are excited to announce that Adelynn Wierck, from Wapsie Valley High School in Fairbank, Iowa, has officially committed to Hawkeye Community College. Adelynn will join the RedTail Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams while pursuing a degree in psychology.

Adelynn began her track and field journey in seventh grade and added cross country during her freshman year of high school. Since then, she has developed a strong passion for running and competing while continuing to grow as an athlete.

"I'm thrilled to be joining Hawkeye Community College and competing in cross country and track," Adelynn said. "I've always loved pushing myself to improve, and being part of a team that values hard work, dedication, and school spirit is an incredible opportunity. I can't wait to contribute to the program, learn from my coaches and teammates, and represent Hawkeye in competitions."
