RedTails Compete Strong at Wartburg Invitational
The RedTails men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Wartburg Invitational on April 21, delivering several impressive performances.
Leading the way was sophomore Kailan McEwen, who had a standout day in the throwing events. McEwen secured a first-place finish in the women's shot put with a mark of 12.47 meters. She continued her momentum in the hammer throw, recording a huge personal best of 47.50 meters. That mark not only surpassed her previous best by two meters, but also moved her to No. 2 all-time in program history in the women's hammer throw.
Her performance highlighted a strong outing for the RedTails as they continue to build momentum this season.
