Female Athlete of the Week – Kailan McEwen

RedTail Wrestling's Kailan McEwen has been named the Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her impressive performance on the national stage.

Kailan defeated the #3-ranked wrestler in the country this past Saturday, adding to her already stellar season. She has now faced all of the top three ranked wrestlers in the nation, proving her competitive edge by securing a victory against the #3 seed.

"Kailan has been a pleasant surprise on the national stage. She gets better every day," said head coach Dan Lovell.

Kailan McEwen is originally from Union, IA.
