Mia Kurth will Continue Academic and Wrestling Career at St. Ambrose University

RedTail student-athlete Mia Kurth has announced that she will continue both her academic and athletic career at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. At St. Ambrose, Kurth plans to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy while continuing to compete in wrestling.

Originally from Lansing Iowa, Kurth has been a dedicated member of the RedTail wrestling program at Hawkeye Community College. Throughout her time with the team, she has demonstrated a strong work ethic, determination, and a passion for improving both on and off the mat. 

Kurth shared a simple but powerful message that reflects her mindset moving forward: "No fear. No doubt." That has guided her throughout her wrestling journey at Hawkeye Community College and will continue to inspire her as she takes the next step in her academic and athletic career.
